NUVO just barely posted the schedule.  Remember all Competition/Convention Rules apply don't forget to be there ready 1.5 hours before performance time.  Please work hard and dress/act appropriately for convention classes.  Because all competition is before workshop classes we will hand out wrist bands and numbers when we see you for competition numbers.

Photographer: **Please arrive 1.5 Hours READY (hair,makeup,potty,food) before performance time!! unless you are one of the first numbers in the early morning doors open at the following times (Thurs 5:15pm, Friday 6:45 am, Saturday 7:15am) Please dont arrive earlier than these times! THIS COMPETITION ALWAYS RUNS AHEAD!! Please Be Prepared for an early performance... Please oh Please remember the dancers need amble warm up and prep time.. If you arrive late it causes undue stress for everyone! Please remember how hard the girls have worked and that competition is a time for praise and applause for that work not for critiques and negativity.. I have seen this time and time again ruin a dancers self-esteem if their parents and family dont applaud and support the work they have done! The most defeating thing for a dancer in the world is to walk off stage to negativity no matter what happens try to stay positive.. Remember dancers get one shot they dont get to redeem themselves later in the game! It takes a lot just to step on that stage so please remember its not always about WINNING but about how far your dancer has come! Dancers may also show stress getting ready for the competition this is NORMAL! You would be stressed too! Please be patient stay positive and remind them how hard they have worked and how Fun this is and that you cannot wait to see them perform! They do Love this and they have worked hard for it and just want so bad to have a pleasing and successful performance! CHANGE IN COMPETITION SCHEDULE/Pheonix NYCDA

We are incredibly sorry... However we were the ONLY studio to register for the starquest dance competition in April.. They are a traveling dance competition and it would not be worth it for them to come for just us.. After Susie and I desperately tried to recruit other studios with no luck and searching for something else that would work with our schedule and our needs.. We will instead be going to Lagoon (American Onstage) May 15-16.  We are so sorry for any inconvience this may have caused it was really not in our control.  We appreciate your willingness to be flexible and understanding. 
**If you have a solo you will be recieving a $27.00 credit as they are cheaper than the Starquest entree fees.  (All Solos will be entered in the Queen Devision)

**OPTIONALLY we will be attending the NYCDA in Pheonix May 1-3.  I have 6 spots for solos (the first 6 to let me know).  Pheonix may open up for solos and we can take more however you already have to be signed up for the workshop to take part in that.  (If you already did your solo in Denver we will give others a turn first, also if you got a gold or higher you cannot recompete at another NYCDA city.)
Please let me know ASAP.. You do not have to have a solo to go and do the workshop!
