Please arrive in lobby ready for workshop at 7:15am (www.nycdance.com) has the schedule click on Denver and then Workshop Schedule. You will recieve your wrist bands and numbers then! Classes go until 2:00p.m. You dont have to watch just like 24-7 but you can purchase an observer pass!
If you have competiting numbers please do not go back to your room to get ready the mini room is the dressing room please just get ready in dressing room so we will have enough time to prepare! These numbers go really really fast please prepare! Hair in competition hair style. We will give you new eyelashes. Blush Eyeshadow I will have lipstick! ** We are limited on the amount of numbers that we are allowed to enter. They give us 15 numbers unless we bring more than 30 students then we are allowed 2 extra 6 of which can be solos.. We were allowed 8 solos this time because the competition opened up allowing each studio two extra solos.. Sometimes they can open up so much they allow unlimited solos if the competition is not too big! So we have eight solos the minis are all going to NYC this summer and need to qualify their solos so they are first then I always go with my oldest Ariel has already qualified her solo as she got a gold in SLC (anything with a gold or higher cannot re-compete at another NYCDA regional city) so Jessi is the next oldest with a solo ready..Please be understanding that we honestly try to be as fare as possible and do what is best for the studio as a whole and not just any individual dancer.

24 Seven Dance Convention
Well its here ready or not!! if you go to www.24sevendance.com and click on salt lake city then click on download your personal pdf and type in your dancers name you will get a personal competition schedule for that dancer. Its really nice I suggest doing it :) Also the workshop schedule tab and the competition tab are there.
ALL STUDENTS NEED TO BE AT THE SALT PALACE by 2:30p.m. on Friday Jan 31. We will be in the lobby area to hand out your wrist bands. For workshop classes you will need to bring two appropriate dance outfits all your shoes! Tap, Ballet, and Hip-hop! They can take little snacks but will have breaks for dinner you can go and get them something and bring it back to them the break is not long so I dont suggest leaving at all. THESE WORKSHOP CLASSES ARE NOT OPTIONAL THEY ARE MANDATORY! You will need to return to the salt palace on Saturday after competing by 2:30p.m. ready for more classes! It looks like we end at about 9:30p.m each night! **parents may watch the classes but there is $40.00 observer pass (the competition is free) You dont need to watch Susie, Katie, and Nichole will be there. You can also sit in the hall and go in inbetween if you would like to check on and help them.

COMPETITION you need to be in dressing room READY 1.5 hours prior to your competition time not only can the competition run early but we need appropriate prep time! ITS NEVER A GOOD PERFORMANCE OR EXPIRIENCE FOR ANYONE IF YOU COME RUNNING IN 2 SECONDS BEFORE! We have many dancers to prep so we may be getting others ready as you are coming in be patient help your dancer stretch until we are ready to prep your class!
"READY" means went to the bathroom have first costume on. make up and hair are done!
Hair... Please wear the same hair as last season I will repost the pictures! Please make sure it is slicked really well lots of hair spray and bobby pins! bun makers also make the bun much easier!
Makeup... I will have lipstick.. You will need to have eyelashes on, eyeliner, eyeshadow purples or browns, mascara (if needed over eyelashes) Blush!
You will be getting your costumes/jewlary/eyelashes THIS WEEK!! sorry for the delay! please make sure your bills are up to date so your child can recieve their costumes! Many of the Costumes have accessories please keep these organized so nothing is lost or not at the comepetition.
