Peter Pan Performance Note

Dear Peter Pan Performers-

Please arrive at RJHS December 19 @ 6:00 p.m.  IN YOUR BLACK LEOTARD PINK TIGHTS AND PINK BALLET SHOES! Please no black tights or tan just pink!!! We NEED them there this early so we can get correct costumes on them and then we have to help the little kids in the pre-show! If you are late we will be unavailable to help you!! We will also be UNABLE to do any hair there. So if you need help please make an appointment with someone beforehand!!

ALL hair needs to be in the competition style hair braid in front from left to right with the exception of the bun in the back!!  Not on the side (unless of course you are older and a character that requires a different hair style) performance make-up! You may wear any lipstick dark in color! Preferable red. 

The show starts @ 7:00 p.m. and is 5.00 per seat at the door VERY EXCITED!!!  MERRY CHRISTMAS. 

Babes, Boys, Tumble/Ballet Christmas Recital Note..

Dear BABES, BOYS, TUMBLE/BALLET CLASS-

Please arrive on December  19 For Christmas Recital @ Roosevelt Jr. High School at 6:30p.m. in auditorium.  Please be ready at this time! Your hair can be done however you want!! Just out of your face and Cute! Boys please wear tennis shoes with your shirt and shorts! Girls please wear pink tights and pink ballet shoes with your costume!  (Babes will do ballet first, then tap so ballet shoes first!)

At 6:45 p.m. Please line your child up at the right hand side of the stage stairs. A teacher will be there to meet them.  This is also where they will exit so you can get your child without leaving auditorium. Babes when finished performing the first number, parents please as quietly and as least disturbing as possible go to your child by the stairs and change shoes to tap as there will be other performers performing. 

The show starts @ 7:00 p.m. The Cost is 5.00 at the door per seat!  Peter Pan the Ballet following the pre-show is exciting and totally kid friendly please stay and watch! A great Christmas Tradition!

We would like all (Yes Lakita and Shay we will not take this number to vegas if neccessary.) to attend The Master Class Friday October 26 we will be at the Touch Of Class Studio in Layton.  Master Class will be at 10:00 a.m. This is an extrodinary oportunity even if you don't think you will make the number.. 30.00 per girlor boy 12 and up.  If you do make the number you will be required to stay and have rehearsals through Saturday.  We are leaving Thursday the 25 after school if you need a ride and want to stay with us.

Bus Posibility for Vegas..

I have had some interest in a Bus to our Vegas Competition.  Susie and I will have many props this year, we will be responsible for hauling to the competition, so we will have to take a truck and will not be riding a bus.  However if a mother would like to be totally responsible for scheduleing, collecting money, organizing, and all that a bus entails that would be fantastic! Please let us know if you are interested and we will get the word out to everyone!

Acro Teacher

Essie has had some recent unexpected health issues and cannot teach acro for the time being but we are very EXCITED to announce that Aubrey Winterton will be instructing Acro until she leaves on her mission in November!

A big THANK YOU and Duchesne County Parade

First of all I would like to thank all the moms/parents of "Monsters" everyone was there on time!! and for being patient and helpful with the costumes! I appreciate these things more than you know it cut the stress in half and I felt like we had pleanty of time to prepare properly! Please keep this up through the season! I appreciate your dedication to what your dancers are doing!

I also felt like all of the dances performed so well at UBIC! From Babes, Boys, Tumble/Ballet, Monsters, Angel Gabriel, That Home, and Circumnavigation! I got great feed back from all! (especially because we only have known these dances for less than a month! )

The Duchesne County Parade will be this Saturday the 11th in Duchesne Line up is sort of accross from and behind the post office it shouldent be to hard to see us it will be at 4:00 p.m. Parade starts at 5:00p.m. the parade just goes down mainstreet and finishes by the high school! Wear you parade outfits hair however you want!

Another Doterra Class/Party!

We will be having another Doterra Party/Class at the Studio Thursday August 16 @ 6:00p.m. for those of you who missed the previous party please come and bring a friend! Also if you want to come to another class please do! I learn a lot about using them every class I go to! Truely these oils have changed my life!

Extra Rehearsal and Monster Costumes

Those in Angel Gabriel Only will have a Mandatory Extra Rehearsal This Thursday August 2nd from 3-5 @ the studio dont miss it!!

The Studio will be open from 3-5p.m. on Thursday if you would like to stop in and pick up Monster Costume I will have them!! If not I will have them at the park as previously scheduled!

UBIC PERFORMANCE AND PARADE

Mr UBIC Monday July 30  We will be performing both of rachel's numbers "Circumnavigation" and "That Home" Circumnavigation (older): needs to wear the "will you be there" lyrical costume from last year hair last years competition hair! UBIC Thursday August 2nd Babes, Boys, and Tumble/Ballet Please arrive in your summer outfit @ constitution park @ the stage @ 8:00 p.m. we will try to put us on ASAP after that so please arrive on time! You can wear your hair however you would like!

UBIC Friday August 3rd MONSTERS&ANGEL GABRIEL!! Monsters please arrive @ 6:00 p.m.
We have a lot of costume stuff to do for MONSTERS and also makeup possibly! Unfortunately I will not have monster costumes until we get to the performance we got them today however much was wrong so I am running them back out to the seamstress tomorrow and making her fix them! I apologize for the inconvience! hair for everyone but petites needs to be in a low pony tail you have hoods so your hair will be covered for the most part! PETITES need to have their hair in just a slicked bun right on top of their head no part use hairspray! Wear your sweats or a cover up to the park and I will give you your costume no tights no shoes! KINLY please wear your hair in the competition style from last year!

UBIC rehearsal!! ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!

Our UBIC performance rehearsal will be held on Monday JULY 30 there will be no rehearsal on tuesday July 31! This rehearsal will be held on the stage at constitution park!! This rehearsal is also mandatory if you want to perform for UBIC!

Altamont parade!

The altamont parade will be saturday July 28 line up is at 9:00am! It is at the altamont park across from the high school! Our float will be purple and white with balloons on a black truck look for us! Parade starts at 10:00 am wear your parade outfits and white tennis shoes hair however you want! Thanks :)

Parade Fund Raiser

Marianne Jenkins is over the fundraising for our dance moms.. She wanted me to share the following information! I think this fundraiser will do really well! If in addition to the water fundraiser if we could get a few moms to sign up with marianne to help us decorate the floats for the parades! You would just need to meet us there a little early! Such as 8:30 a.m. for the Neola Parade! Please contact Marianne Asap by phone or email if you would like to help!

We are going to do a fundrasier during the parades selling bottle water. All the money we raise is going towards the girls and doing fun activities with them throughtout the year.

I need parents to sign up for each parade. Making sure the bottle water is in coolers with ice and the girls selling it are ready with change. If you are willing to help please let me know. We need 2 wagons or something with wheels that will fit coolers on them, and will be easy for 2 girls to push and pull. I'm also looking for about 4 fanny packs the girls can have around their waist for change and to keep the money. We are hoping to sell 200 bottles and each parade. Thanks for all your support. Let me know if you'd like to help out at the parades.

Doterra Party

I am having a doterra oil party/class at the studio on July 12 @ 6:00 p.m. These oils have made a huge difference in my families health and life! I have used oils such as peppermint on dancers and they have said it helps them stay alert and able to memorize quickly at dance conventions and auditions.  There are also many oils that have helped mood...!!! Just about anything you can think of there is an oil for that! I would love to share these amazing products with you please come and learn and bring a friend! There will be yummy refreshments to try as well!

Neola 4th Parade!

The parade for the Neola 4th will be Wednesday July 4th! line up will be at 9:00 a.m. parade starts at 10:00 a.m. last year it was at the rodeo grounds usually it is at the school there should be signs look for us. We will have purple balloons! The dancers should wear white tennis shoes and parade/summer outfit. If you have not paid for one and plan on participating in the parade get the money in asap!! The cost is 45.00 for girls and 35.00 for boys! Hair can be however you choose! Thanks :)

Summer Parades/ UBIC performance

Babes, Tumble/Ballet, and Boys Class will be participating in UBIC performance and Neola 4th Parade, UBIC Parade, Duchesne County, and Altamont Days! For these Performances we are getting summer outfits that can later be used as class outfits! The cost is $45.00 this needs to be paid ASAP so we can get them here by Neola 4th Parade!

Competing Classes... Parades are optional we will not be having rehearsals we are just doing tricks down the road! However if you would like to participate the cost is $45.00 for outfit you must have it! So if you are going to do one or more parades please get this money in ASAP! (because this is optional it is not included in your pro-rate!)

Summer Intensive Schedule

Tiny Elites and  Company Prep will be required to do 4 intensives in the summer! must include ballet, tap, jazz, and acro! (you may choose to do more if you would like 50.00 per extra intensive attended not included in pro-rate)

Micro, Petite, and Mini Company will be required to do 5 intensives in the summer! must include ballet, tap, jazz, acro, and hip-hop!  (you may choose to do more if you would like 50.00 per extra intensive attended not included in pro-rate)

Jr, Teen and Senior Company will be required to do 6 intensives in the summer! Must include both ballets, tap, jazz, acro and hip-hop! (you may choose to do more if you would like 50.00 per extra intensive attended not included in pro-rate)

You will also be required to participate in at least one choreography!!

Intensives are open to anyone and cost 50.00 per intensive you participate in! You come tues-fri same time everyday!

June 5-8 Ballet Intensive Beg 10-11a.m. Intermediate 11-12:30 p.m. Advanced 12:30-2:30 p.m.

June 12-15 Acro Intensive Beg 10-11a.m. Intermediate 11-12p.m.(cartwheels roundoffs backwalk overs)  Advanced 12-1:30 p.m. (must have backhandspring) Essie Zager will be teaching!!!!

June 19-22 Jazz Technique Beg 10-11a.m. Intermediate 11-12:30 p.m. Advanced 12:30-2p.m.

June 26-29 Hip Hop Intensive Beg 10-10:45 a.m. Intermediate 10:45-11:45a.m. Advanced 11:45-1:00 p.m.

July 7 Rachel is comming! Workshop times TBA 25.00 THIS IS MANDATORY AND INCLUDED IN PRORATE IF ON Micro, Petite, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior Companies She will be doing 2 choreographies and Choosing girls to be in them we will split the choreography costs between those she chooses! She is looking for younger girls too so it is important that you attend! July 8-9 will be the days she does choreography!
